Job Description

At Fed to Flourish, we believe in nurturing potential and empowering children to bloom in the ways they were uniquely designed. As a Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping children with various neurodiverse conditions develop their communication skills. We are a neurodiversity-affirming center, and we prioritize a person-centered, strengths-based approach in all our interventions to help children and families flourish.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and challenges in children.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to address speech sound disorders, language delays, fluency needs, and social communication difficulties.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other members of the therapy team to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Create engaging and interactive therapy sessions that motivate children to actively participate and achieve progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust therapy techniques and strategies based on the child’s evolving needs and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Assist with development and implementation of outreach programs, workshops, and community events, fostering awareness and understanding of services for the public.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Speech-Langage Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • At least on year of experience working with children with neurodiverse conditions, such as autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and therapies for pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to person-centered care.
  • Proficient in English, Multilingual preferred (Bahasa, Mandarin, Tamil)
