Ellisa Yee

Speech-Language Therapist

Janice Cho

Ellisa Yee Shu Ping is a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Therapist trained in the UK, holding a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy. With experience in diverse settings, including special schools, early intervention centers, and hospitals, Ellisa has developed expertise in supporting individuals with a wide range of needs. Her work with children includes addressing speech delays, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and feeding challenges. She is especially passionate about empowering nonspeaking children to communicate using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and tailoring interventions to each child’s specific needs through parent and teacher training.

Ellisa’s approach combines evidence-based techniques such as Gestalt Language Processing, DIR Floortime, and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing. She finds immense fulfillment in witnessing her clients achieve milestones, and remains committed to enhancing lives by fostering confidence and independence through communication.

Hillary Shih

Speech-Language Therapist

Hillary is a certified practicing speech therapist with a degree in Speech Science from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). With a passion for helping individuals across diverse demographics, Hillary has extensive experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She has attended Talktools and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy workshops.  During her free time, she enjoys golf and practicing aerial yoga.

Janice Cho

Jie Yi P’ng

Occupational Therapist

Dr. Jie Yi P’ng received her PhD in Occupational Therapy from the National University of Malaysia.  She is a seasoned occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience specializing in pediatric care. She is passionate about supporting children with neurodevelopmental, mental health, and behavioral challenges, offering tailored interventions to help them thrive in their everyday lives. Jie Yi works closely with children providing comprehensive assessments and individual or group therapy. She is commited to empowering families by equipping caregivers with strategies to foster their child’s development at home.

In addition to direct therapy, Jie Yi has developed and implemented early intervention programs designed for children with autism and other developmental delays. She is a sought-after trainer and speaker, delivering workshops for parents, educators, and professionals on topics such as sensory integration, early intervention, and inclusive education. Jie Yi has also contributed to academic research in pediatric occupational therapy, including the development of a home-based intervention manual for young children with autism. Her dedication to enhancing the well-being of children and families is complemented by her warm and responsive approach, ensuring every child she works with feels supported and valued.

Yasmin Zahida Binti Zulkifflee

Occupational Therapist

Yasmin is a passionate pediatric Occupational Therapist with a special interest in neuro-affirming, child-led therapy approaches. With experience across clinic and school settings, she supports children in developing functional skills through sensory integration, motor coordination, executive functioning, and emotional regulation strategies. Yasmin is a certified Size Matters Handwriting Program (SMHP) therapist and integrates evidence-based tools to improve children’s participation in everyday tasks. She works closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful, strength-based interventions that empower children toward independence and confidence.

Juanita Magen

Clinical Psychologist

Juanita is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology from the International Medical University.

Her clinical experience spans work with children, adolescents, and adults. Juanita has a strong interest in trauma-informed care, neurodevelopmental assessments, and psychotherapy for emotional and behavioural challenges. She has contributed to academic research on adolescent wellbeing and social support and is actively involved in community mental health initiatives.

Juanita is fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and Tamil, and is committed to providing culturally responsive, compassionate psychological care.

Syamil Sofiah

Clinical Psychologist

Sofiah attained her Master in Human Sciences (Clinical and Counselling Psychology) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Her clinical training in Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab (HRPZ-II) and Hospital Permai Johor Bahru has allowed her to work with cases across different developmental age spans and socioeconomic backgrounds. She has also worked in both private and government settings and has experience in managing cases including neurodevelopmental, mood and personality disorders. In view of her therapeutic approach, Sofiah applies an eclectic form of psychotherapy, to which she tailors to suit the needs of her clients and their treatment goals. Her special interest is in child and adolescent psychology, and is currently completing her Graduate Certification Program of Family Therapy. Sofiah strongly resonates with the saying “Worry ends when faith begins” and aims to build trust and a safe space for her clients. 

Marsha Batrisyia

Clinical Assistant

Marsya is a psychology graduate with a strong passion for understanding human behavior and supporting diverse communities. She recently completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at The University of Sheffield, UK. Her experience includes conducting research on children’s Theory of Mind, volunteering with children with learning disabilities and autism, and actively participating in cultural and leadership activities. Marsya excels in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, bringing adaptability and professionalism to every endeavor. She is committed to continuous learning and making a meaningful impact in her field.

Daniel Cho,

Operations Director

Daniel Cho holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Loyola Marymount University. After a decade in aerospace engineering, he transitioned into nonprofit leadership in New York City, where he combined his leadership skills with a passion for serving families and communities.

Through his own journey in marriage and parenting, Daniel came to understand that traditional strategies don’t work for every child or family. Learning about neurodivergence, trauma, and connection-based approaches reshaped his perspective, revealing that building trust and connection is essential for lasting change.

Daniel is a certified coach with the CernySmith Assessment, trained in The Coach Model, and a certified facilitator of the Cultivate Connection Parenting Course, which he and Janice have expanded into Malaysia. He is passionate about supporting parents on their journey and strengthening families through connection.

At Fed to Flourish, Daniel also supports and leads the team, helping therapists grow in their strengths while staying anchored in the mission of helping children and families flourish.

Janice Cho,

Clinical Director | Feeding Therapist

Janice Cho is a U.S. trained Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who helps parents navigate feeding challenges with clarity and confidence. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University and a Master’s degree from California State University, Long Beach, and is certified through the Commission on Dietetics Registration (USA), trained in SOFFI®, and a member of the Malaysian Dietitians Association.

Janice began her career in California working in the NICU with high-risk premature babies, supporting some of the most complex feeding journeys. She later moved to New York City, where she worked with immigrant families and founded a mothers’ support community in the Bronx, deepening her understanding of how feeding, development, and connection are closely linked.

As a parent in a neurodiverse and adoptive family, Janice knows firsthand how overwhelming mealtimes can feel. This led her to pursue advanced training in responsive feeding, trauma-informed care, and trust-based parenting.

Janice now supports families using Responsive Feeding Therapy, Division of Responsibility, and attachment-based approaches. Over the years, he has provided trainings for both professsionals and parents internationally and within Malaysia.   Janice is also a certified facilitator of the Cultivate Connection Parent Course which she and Daniel have expanded into Malayasia.

Now based in Malaysia with her husband and three sons, Janice co-founded Fed to Flourish to help families feel supported, understood, and equipped to grow.
