Job Description

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to enhance the development and quality of life for the children we serve. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of each child’s physical, sensory, and motor skills to identify individual needs and challenges.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the child’s family and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and practices to address fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to child development.
  • Offer support and guidance to parents and caregivers, educating them on strategies to promote their child’s development at home.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each child’s progress, using data to guide treatment planning and adjustments.
  • Assist with development and implementation of outreach programs, workshops, and community events, fostering awareness and understanding of services for the public.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric therapy, with an understanding of child development, neurodiversity, and sensory processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and affirming environment for all children and families.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research in the field.
  • Proficient in English, Multilingual preferred (Bahasa, Mandarin, Tamil)
